The original Windsor opened in 1954 and was located on Kingsway in New Westminster.  This location, although open to the public, served primarily local contractors, and was replaced by a Surrey store on King George’s Highway in 1958.  Randy Jones bought Windsor in 1965 and in 1969 the first corporate store opened it’s doors in North Vancouver under the “Windsor Plywood” banner.  Windsor plywood has been part of the growth of Western Canada for the past 45 years with the opening of 60 retail locations from Ucuelet, B.C., To Great Falls Montana in the USA.
The Campbell River store was bought over 20 years ago by the current owners and has been serving the community since.  Over the years the store has undergone a few expansions and currently houses a large moulding room,  and in store door shop and a large selection of cabinet hardware.

Our helpful staff and a brief description of what they do:
Steve Lotridge: Our Manager, resident Door expert.  He has over 20 years of experience in building doors.
Daryl: Our Owner.  Daryl has been working at Windsor for over 25 years and is knowledgeable on the majority of products that are carried within the store.
Rick V:  Our resident Door builder  with 25 years experience in door building
Matt:  Member to our door shop
Eric: With 20 years carpentry, his knowledge and experience make him a valued in the Door Shop and as a sales person.
Steve O.: Our resident Exotic Hardwood Expert. many years in woodworking/sales.
